I am very pleased to introduce you to the new Walkabout Workplace executive team. We have been hard at work as a team since January and have made some solid improvements to the platform and are geared up for growth.

New features include highly robust and quality multi-participant video sessions, iPhone and Android mobile device functionality and customized office layout options, among others.

New additions to our leadership team bring amazing expertise and insights; we are hard at work rolling out several new functionalities and strategies you will be able to benefit from.

Toni Portman, Co-Founder & CEO

With more than 35 years of leadership experience in executive management, Toni has spent her career in technology companies, ranging from software, SaaS, and hardware to bpo, technical support and  professional services. she brings a wealth of management skills with expertise in m&a, strategic planning, process improvement and innovative sales solutions. throughout her career she has held executive positions at IBM Corporation and Diebold Inc. Toni’s corporate leadership includes holding the position of chief executive officer at DHisco; Stream, Inc.; Cas Partners/Riverstone Residential; and Lockin, a SaaS e-learning company. She brings to Walkabout Workplace a commitment to “making presence possible”.  Toni loves learning and life and is blessed with six grandchildren and a cool she-cat named Frank.

Antoinette Forth, Co-Founder & COO

Antoinette (Anton) Forth is the co-founder and chief operating office of Walkabout Workplace. Prior to devoting her work full-time to Walkabout, Antoinette started her own consulting business and held operations and sales management positions at an international business process outsourcing company where she managed global teams to deliver revenue and where she achieve an over 90% client retention rate among Fortune 500 clients. Understanding the good and bad human impact of digital technology in working relationships, she is creating the digital equivalent of the physical workplace. Antoinette is a Certified Tea Sommelier and lives on a hobby farm just south of Buffalo, NY. In the pre-digital 1980s she assumed the nickname “Anton” which was much easier to spell over the phone.

David Holcombe, Chief Technology Officer

David comes to walkabout workplace  with 20+ years experience in technology, analytics/data warehousing/bi/ai, sales/operations excellence, m&a, technology & program management.  most recently, david served as svp – data architecture and bi and was program director – enterprise information and analytics for the university of chicago medicine and verizon.  david has his phd in behavioral science and believes that data informs behavior and behavior informs data. 

Jim Lesniak, Chief Revenue Officer

Jim Lesniak joined Walkabout Workplace in January 2019 and serves as Chief Revenue Officer.  He is responsible for worldwide sales and marketing as well as market expansion opportunities and business development growth through channel partnerships and OEM relationships.  Jim thrives on assisting clients with technology solutions and brings more than 30 years of experience in solution-based, industry focused sales.  After several IBM internships and graduating with honors from the University of North Texas, he continued working with IBM where he spent the first 15 years of his career.  He has also held roles with Entrust Technologies, Credant Technologies, Securify, HMS/Essette, and ZixCorp where he was VP of Sales and achieved revenue targets and company guidance for ten years.  Jim and his family live in the mountains overlooking Boulder where he enjoys skiing and mountain biking almost as much as driving his air-cooled turbo. 

Marion Roger, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Marion Roger: Sr Vice President Sales & Marketing  A global citizen (20+ years residence Europe, speaking fluent French, Spanish and Portuguese)  Marion worked remotely and successfully managed remote teams for decades. Having run sales and marketing at several leading hospitality technology firms and helped two startups gain global attention and funding, she is a polished communicator, often speaking at industry events.  A prolific author, Marion is published in various industry magazines and also often blogs about the future. Whether focusing on the importance of data privacy and security, Blockchain, or her current passion, the future of work, she is evangelical in her approach to staying ahead of the curve as a way to keep your competitive edge.  She's also an accomplished chef, artist and photographer who lives on the Hudson River overlooking Manhattan with her French husband, the personal chef for a NYC multi-billionaire.

Conrad Kloc, Vice President, SaaS Product Manager

Conrad leads the team executing program design and product features that deliver on the product vision.  An entrepreneur and a business enthusiast with a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, Conrad excels at leading projects, spearheading systems upgrades for managing events and mapping customer service experiences in hospitality and transportation. He successfully developed and launched a franchised business system for a manufacturer in the alternative transport space and over the years realizes he thrives in finding unique solutions within constraints. Process minded and value focused, Conrad has a deep passion for learning.  His unique ability to roll up his sleeves and get work done under pressure is even more impressive when he casually mentioned he accomplished that latest deliverable between diaper changes of his 12 week old son. Getting to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2012 and the breathtaking sunrise he dreams of daily is the source of his sunny disposition (along with the giggles of his son!)  

Lena, Lena Levine Studio, Development & Maintenance

Lena Levine is the owner and creative director at Lena Levine Studio. Lena and her team are Walkabout’s technology development team supporting product development and maintenance and mobile app development to deliver recurring value to Walkabout clients. Lena has a passion for introducing technology and tech development to women and minority business owners. She is recognized as a tech all-star in Buffalo and is a regular speaker at various start-up and technology conferences throughout New York State. She has received several awards for her contributions, including Women in Tech and Buffalo Tech Community Contributor by InfoTech Niagara.  

Ben, Positronic.io, Research & Development

Ben Vierck is the chief executive officer of Positronic AI and an investor in Walkabout Workplace. Ben and his team provided R&D support to Walkabout during its initial technology build and will continue to help Walkabout build intellectual property in the areas of deep learning, computer vision and natural language processing. Ben and his team create technology that solves complex people, technical and mechanical problems. Ben hails from St. Louis where his Air Hockey Bot is ready for play in the GameXploration exhibit at the Saint Louis Science Center. Using similar technology to self-driving cars and AI, the air hockey table demonstrates real-time object local localization technology. The game learns as it is played.
